alarm not workin

ok, now thats sorted, the last problem i have with this side of it, the locks r shocking, sometimes they central lock, other times they dont, sometime the alarm arms, sometimes it doesnt. any way of gettin remote locking to work with standard alarm?<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Oxygen sensor (a.k.a. Lambda sensor ) is the thing you can see bolted into the manifold/downpipe if you look at the pipework just below the engine, should have a wire coming off it, it measures (apologies for the less than precise description) the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gases so the ECU knows how the engine is running.
Fairly easy to spot on the 8V with the engine bay having a lot of space.
Nothing to do with the alarm tho mate, sounds like you were/are reading out the ECU codes, not the alarm codes (or at least looking them up on a list of ECU codes)
