Brake Lights

Any electrical issues

by Taz » Fri Feb 06, 2004 2:26 pm

My rear left brake light is not working properly. When I turn my headlights on, and the rear light come on, the left brake light in permently on, (the right on is fine). When the lights are off and I press the brake pedal, the left brake light is brighter than the left.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I may fix this problem?

Cheers!

It deffo sounds like a short in the wiring somewhere. Have you moved or played with any of the wiring looms near the boot recently?

Check the brightest bulb is not double filament one,and its using the brake light filament... hence it will be brighter

seen it done a few times
