Front foglight relay????????

Just a quickie anybody know where the front foglight relay is located.

Thanks for that, it's just the haynes manual shows a relay for cars fitted with front fogs

never seen a relay as such only that link wire...guess its one of those way up behind the fuse box. found about 5 up there all hidden away

Haynes shows that there can either be a link wire or relay to control the rear fogs depending on model so that they only come on if fronts are switched on, link wire means that they'd work independant of fronts, but I could be wrong.

no I have the link wire and they will only work if the front sde lights are on, back ones work that way as well

though they dont need the back on to work the front or vise versa

Mine is the same setup with the wire but looking at that link you posted up I pulled the relay you had down for rear fogs but they still worked.

Thanks fraz for your help. For future ref the wire link is for rear fogs and the relay directly below it is front fogs.[img]/smile.gif[/img]

It ended up to be the switch even though it checked out ok on a risistance check and was operating ok.

i have one 30 amp fuse in the engine bay fuse box on the SE2. any ideas what this could be???

main pwer fuse ..take that out and nothing works
