fault codes 19, 24 & 92

Hi

thanks for your recent help on the fault code readings. i tried with the engine running ( 94 calibra ecotec) but couldn't get any reading. However without the engine running i managed to get the following codes

12 - dianostic
19 - RPM Signal
24 - Vehicle Speed sensor ????
92 - Cam Shaft sensor

I've put the missfiring and cutting out down to some dodgy wiring on the fuel injectors (now sorted, i hope!!), however it still wont rev above 4500prm. can somebody help?

How do i resolve these. I've read a couple of threads that say replace the sensors. is this the long term solution? if so should i by only GM sensors or will any do? wil lthis solve all the faults?

should i take it to the VX garage?

and what is VSS??

help appreciated as i'm really confused.
Thanks

12 - dianostic thats ok
19 - RPM Signal thats just cos engine aint running
24 - Vehicle Speed sensor ???? check speedo is connected
92 - Cam Shaft sensor remove and clean if still the same replace

make sure you disconnect battery once done them for 30 mins to wipe codes otherwise they will show again even if you fix the prob

What engine is fitted. If its coming up with camshaft sensor then I'd change it. If you become a club member then you 'll get discount at your local vaux dealer, or you could try www.autovaux.co.uk

The speedo works fine when actually driving the car( not that you can get far on 4500rpm) although i have worked out if your driving along, turn the engine off and then bump it, the problem dissapears? is this normal?? seems a bit strange????

I've just purchased a siemans Cam Sensor for Vestra/OPmega/Calibra 1.8 2.0, will this work ok? are they all the same?
