is the temp sensor under the bumper common to all vauxhalls? showing -15,im in newquay at the moment and im sure it aint that cold,assuming its the sensor or could it be sumit else?

by common to all vauxhalls i mean are they all the same on all models?

its in the front bumper, this is taken from the guide to fit a cold air feed and

Finally the last step before you can remove the front bumper is to disconnect the ambient temperature sensor. Slide the front bumper a few inches forward carefully. Just to the right hand side there is a small sensor attached to the bumper it pulls out quite easily.

Certainly the same as a mk3 astra as i have performed a swap on these

try cleaning the sensor with a spray of wd40.
