right i have tried almost every thing,
the light flickers on around 2500 and 3000 REVS and she tries to die, but only when im in gear and driving it does'nt come on if you just rev the car, i put it on the computer and it said mass air flow meter low voltage, so i changed the air flow meter and it was ok for 30 seconds,
any one got any idear of what the problem is

ps the computer is now showing no codes

Low voltage is unusual for a burnt out sensor anyway, it usually defaults to high voltage because it is referring to the voltage over the sensor.
Have you checked the surrounding wires for a short to eart etc??

you checked the rubber thingy that connects it to the inlet manifold for splits? could be due to an air leak

p.s. you still having trouble getting the pages up? I am grrrrrrr

ok i check for air leaks and shorts, no shorts, air leak on the icv pipe, the one from icv to top of manifold, changed that it was ok driving to work but 7 hours later on the way home it flashed on again.
it seams strange that it only flashers on around 3000 revs and when im driving

try this it may work may not, but its quick and easy and may solve it

basically clean up the electrical connector going to the air flow sensor the white one in the pic, put it back together and see if it still does it like i said may work may not but worth a try

been out in the car tonight and its still doing BUT when i got out of the car i heard a spluter from the back box, so i poped the bonnet and checked the leads and number 4 was not on all the way tried to push it on and it would not clip on to the plug but when i pulled the lead of the plug the bit that is attached inside the lead was still on the plug, i am just woundering if this would be the cause of my e/m/light flshing on

would the HT lead cause the e,m,light to flash as number 4 is not cliping on all the way what i ment to say was when i put the metal sheild on the lead it seams to miss fire but did notice that the thingy inside the lead has broken but it i leave the shield off, it runs ok but would this cause the light to flicker at speed

changed the plugs, leads, cap, arm, still geting this miss fire, now its anything above 2500 revs, the light does not always flash but the engine is still trying to die
