Suspension advise

Right as my front passenger side spring has snapped, need it sorting fairly quickly really so choices are:-

1. buy some second hand koni adjustables with springs (would any garages fit 2nd hand shocks and springs)

2. buy a new full suspension kit (suggestions on a v6) G-max, PI, etc? (koni's new are a tad expensive really)

3. get two new standard springs

now saying all of the above options, what else would i need to get/replace while i'm at it

on a tight budget really but need to get it sorted soon really

and with a snapped spring, sheared at the bottom, i take it this would cause a clunking noise while driving

if i were to do it myself (lowering it with the koni's) what would i need, just spring compressors, think i would prefer a reasonable garage to do it really but don't really know how much they would charge and if they would do it and as it is my daily driver i can't really be without it for too long

any suggestions welcomed

If you want to just replace the springs I have a pair of standard ones here you can have for £20 plus the postage. Fitting them however can be a bit of a pig unless you really know what your doing with them.

cheers tim are they new or used, i think till i have a bit more cash and a bit more time to work on the car i will wait to replace with lowered, think i will go down the standard springs route for time being, get rid of the damn knocking, theres a lad at work who said he can do them for me for a small fee

Used but was nothing wrong with them when i took them off the car just had a bargain on here for some koni adjustables and springs.
