by calibra_v6_dtm » Thu Oct 19, 2006 11:38 pm

Hi all,

i would like to buy some vented fr+rr discs for my 1994 v6

i was thinking of some of these...
<a href="http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CALIBRA-TURBO-2-5-V6-Drilled-Grooved-Brake-Discs_W0QQitemZ290040617267" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CALIBRA-TURBO-2-5-V6...emZ290040617267</a>

also i understand there was larger rr discs on 95on models can i fit those discs on my 94?

any advice appreciated thanks, Matt.

You cant fit the larger disks leastwise not the rear ones. IIRC there is a problem with the fronts as well. Before you buy the new ones ensure that you are getting the ones for your car as the changeover point is not a definate point.

The changeover point is from the S chassis to the T Chassis.

They should be ok. Should notice less brake fade as the grooves will keep the gasses off the pads. Couple them with some braided hoses and you should notice a hell of a difference.

Last year I replaced the rear discs on my V6 and have just replaced the front ones, I got them from my local motor factors - they were only £50 a pair!
