from what i can see/know, 3 bolts either side. as far as can think, will stand corrected though, think 18mm and 19mm bolts.. said sockets, a breaker bar, pry bars, grease, jack, axle stands, hammer(incase) all needed for doing job, oh and 20 fags if smoke n a hot cuppa with winter here!!! -2.5 here today
no, no springs off, know where near them.. springs to rear of wheels, your working to front of wheels.. not even a wheel off job

What happens when you take out the bolt? Are you supporting it with the jack or something? I thought that beam held the wishbones on to the car.

Just looking at the epc exploded view. Is it held on in the middle too? The beam I mean.

the bushies go in from the bottom.. car up on axle stands.. use the jack you used to locate car on the stands to jack the bush in to hole once old one removed

sorry, no pics........ all done and dusted.. took, max 1 hour. jacked the car up at jacking point,(done 1 side at a time), let down onto axle stand under the arm that the bush goes into.. then removed the cover plate(held on with 3 bolts(1 for the bush) the bush bolt was an 18mm, other 2 were 15mm and 16mm,when cover was off, alloy centers on both bushies fell out of mine(minced!!),used 18 inch pry bar to lever out, greased up new bush with small amount of grease and then used jack with a big socket to located into place(other way to do it would be, no grease and use a bit of wood the size of the bush to jack it up into place, maybe a small amount of wd40 to help in), let down and replace cover plate.. honestly... if you got the tools.. your granny could do it for you.

2) had a knock from rear(dont think was these tho)
3) car at that age, esp with being a 4x4 needing to be changed
