Bulb warning light...
Has anyone got any ideas about why my bulb warning light wont go out?
Sometimes it goes off after i depress my brake, as I believe it should, and sometimes it doesn't, I've checked all my bulbs and replaced most of them but no luck.... can anyone help?
P.s. Engine management ligt sometimes comes on, sometimes not as well??
Thanks...

need a few more details really, for the engine managment light you can do the paper clip test then post up your results here
check out <a href="http://www.topbuzz.co.uk" target="_blank">www.topbuzz.co.uk</a> for some help with fault codes.
as for the brake lights if your 100% you dont have a bulb out, it could be a wiring problem start by cleaning the terminals on the bulb holders.

is the brake warning light only staying on when you have got your headlights on if so then its probably your sidelight in one of the front headlights or the brake/tail light has been inserted the wrong way round, there are two bumps on the metal part of the bulb, one is higher than the other make sure these are inserted correctly and if already in the wrong way round change the bulb

Thanks Neil and Cozy,
Engine management light has gone out although I will do paperclip test tomorrow and see what happens. Bulb warning light seems to only somtimes come on now as well.
I believe the bulb warning light system tests the resistance of the bulbs in the circuit and is very sensative so I will check the rear bulbs are correctly inserted and are correct wattage and also check and clean all the bulb contacts around the car as well.
Thanks again
Adam
