Brake / wheel prob

My v6 has started vibrating when braking. its fairly bad at around 60mph, enough to judder the steering wheel and generally feel unsafe. At lower speed ,say 30mph, the brakes have a sort of on off effect, making the car feel like its rocking back and forth slightly. Theres no grinding noise like the pads are going.Also the brakes dont feel as powerfull as they used to.

Any ideas?

Yeah will do.

Whats best to get, Standard v6 discs or perhaps some grooved or drilled discs?
Can you tell any difference between them?

I've got this also, I know the tracking is spot on as i've only recently had it done, spiggots in place and wheels balanced...my next port of call was to change the discs as I thought that might solve the slight wobble, however wouldn't there be some feeling from the brake pedal if the discs were warped?

I had EDC grooved discs on my old cav and they were great!! Noisey but certainly did the job!! Ive never had drilled before but ive heard they can be easy to warp!!

If you do go for grooved discs its best to uprate the pads too cos standards wont last long with the grooved discs!!!

You can have them in any combination, grooved or drilled or both.
Mine were just grooved and were excellent for the price and worked ok with standard pads.
