wondering if anyone knows what this is for as its not connected to anything.

the alarm horn should be there, is it? if not thats probably what that plug is for

where on the car are we looking here, is that not the RON ratings plug.

looking at pic, i would say its the connector for the bonnet alarm switch for the std alarm, that still on your car? think its just to the drivers side of that extra fuse box there.. if it is there, check and see if wire conected to it.
you got after market alarm fitted? have saw in past some companys disconecting the std alarm in bits so it doesnt effect there system

yes i have a different alarm so as you say they have prob left it disconected as the alarm horn has been taken out,

the pic is passenger side bulk head where the fuse box is.

yes, pic from passengers side, but what i ment was... to the drivers side of the black box in that pic, there should be the std bonnet trigger switch for the alarm
