cant get to work

ive just wired up my 6x9 running of a amp,got light on amp that must be the remote power,but i have no sound out of speakers,the only thing i can think of is a bad earth or on the amp where u put in the earth,power,romote,the conectors move in and out is this normal,any info would be cool

ive just checked speakers they work ok,headunit works all ok ie rca conectors.had a look inside amp everything seems ok,but still cant get it to work,help

9 out of 10 times its the earth,move the earth,(i use a bolt holding the rear lights in)
and make sure u have a fuse in the live wire.(the light on the amp will still come on even if the fuse is missing or blown)

i tryed the earth took it straight from battery still no good mate

how thick is the wiring your using?

yer i pluged in a dvd player had no probs with the sound using the rca conectors
