wheel wobble

hi ive just bought some 18" alloys for my cally

it had 17" on b4 with no problems

anyway i bought them off the internet from a decent alloy wheel store
so they came all ready balanced etc but since i put on my new 18"s the steering wheel wobbles like mad after 38mph

has any 1 any ideas b4 i go down the usaul route of gettin them rebalanced
checking the trackin etc etc

Did you get any spiggot rings with your new wheels ?

yes but i did have a slight problem with 1 of them on the front the clip that holds the spiggot ring doesnt fit neatly into the groove like its suppose to but i managed to fit it in the end.

I think Robbie means spigot rings that go on the hub or inside the centre of the wheel before you fit them. [img]/smile.gif[/img]

i have just been looking into changing my wheel size and was told that i need a wobbly nuts to put 18 on my calibra myself never heard of them

depends on the PCD

The PCD must be ok otherwise they wouldn't fit!

Check the wheels aren't buckled. Spiggot rings are a must and get proper alloy wheel nuts. Apply correct torque setting to each bolt
