Groaning and squealing

by Robs-se » Wed Mar 14, 2007 10:15 pm

When turning the steering wheel to the right i get a horrible groaning and squealing sound coming from the front drivers side wheel. Also when car is in motion there is also a slight grinding noise but doesn't happen all the time.
on slowing down there is a slapping sort of sound as if a bit of wet leather was stuck somewhere and hitting on something as it went round.

I'm at work now so can't get the wheel off to have a look.
Anyone any suggestions on what to look for ??

Cheers

Rob

I have that groaning on mine especially on full lock and under weight (more that me in the car)..its got to be front suspension/springs?..gonna give mine a good clean and a spray with WD40..worked for a while last time I did it.
