Do You Reckon These Will Fit?

Thought I'd put a pic of these brakes I managed to get, compared to the Tarox 6 pots:

I'm hoping to get them under 18's with the 310mm discs and then the 6 pots on the rear

I know the discs are looking a bit rusty but it's off the road for winter.

Hi Steve

Yeah pop round, just give me a ring, Monday is good for me (tomorrow).

You probably won't guess how much they were but you are right about the misses!

Ian.

please don't take this the wrong way ... but ..
are you sure they will fit onto the disc corectly??
think its time to gt som bigger discs for them calipers .. the swept area of the disc will be miles too small .... also the breaking pressure will be possibly be reduced as the clamping area on the disc will be too large ..
on the correct size disc you will find that the pressure will be much greater as the clamping area will be smaller ..

but fook me them are hoooge ...

Looks like they are going to be too wide across the calliper i.e. would dig into the wheel itself (and the wheels are as wide as I can go) but over the disc area it looks like they would be OK. I'll take a better look when I've got the other jobs done on the long list I have to do.

Sorry to hijack an thread but i 've got myself a massive set of calipers off a merc S class. They are a pair of Brembo 4 pot calipers but i have the same problem as the will dig into the wheels.
The question i wanted answering was that if i was to get say a 15mm spacer for each of the hubs would this cause a problem in the way of the TXB havin extra camber on each of the wheels???

Be sure to use drilled discs to eliminate brake fade as these calipers will have allot of stopping power if offerd up to the correct master cylinder.

Braided hoses all round?

If porsche and lambos still use drilled discs its good enough for me.
