has anybody made a switch for their neons etc?

was thinking of doing sorting a toggle switch to turn on some of my neons ,has anybody done one from the battery into the dash?

it would be great if someone could give me a few wiring tips

ive just got a blue illuminated toggle switch(20W) from ebay ,and i want to put some neon bits through it .

can anyone help????

Easy to do just take a spare from the permant live on your radio, then earth them out on the body work

will the 20w toggle switch be okay for wiring a couple of neons up or will i need another toggle switch thats higher?wilkybarkid is gonna help us to wire em up for us

What 20Watt switch?

Switches ar enormally rated in Amps and volts.

ie. 20 Amps / 240VAC.

How long are the neons? Where are they? Floor well/Under Car?

the toggle switch i got from ebay is 20amp sorry ,the neons are about half a metre long and are in my footwell...

I added a switch to kill the amp and the interior neons in the footwells just wired them to the earth for the head unit and the remote live and the ignition live, that way the amp gets killed (rem live) and theres enough power to drive the neons (ignition live) then if you ever get pulled over by the fuzz one switch flick and you can be a polite driver, yes sir no sir etc.

yeah its okay i know its one of my old posts and i ended up plugging all the leds into a block and i have the main one that plugs into the cigarette lighter and sits behind the flap pretty secret lol.
