changed rear lights and dash light prob

hi all,
ive changed my standard rear lights for lexus lights and fitted all new bulbs,
all the lights work as they should .
the problem is-the orange light on the dash wont go out(the light when you push the break pedal it go's out).
any idea's.
they have standard bulbs not led's,

I had this when I fitted my lights I found that pressing the brake with your eyes closed as you enter the car made sure I never saw the light again!

are there the same number of bulbs for the sidelights, arent there 2 for the sidelights, the lexus ones i had a few years ago (never fitted!) had one instead of 2
