Is it rubbing on the top of the arch, or the sides?
If it's the side it could be a bent wishbone. I whacked a kerb pretty hard several years ago (dodging an errant forklift truck with a huge longnecked spikey prong heading towards my passenger side!), and it bent the wishbone, then the gap between the rear of the tyre and the arch nearesest the door was noticeably smaller, and on close to full lock it would rub.

it rubs on the top of the wing checked the springs and not broken BUT i opened he bonnet to see the bush at the top is high up from the turret there is another thread about this else where now when the garage changed the shockers they did ask me if there is a gap between the 2 and i said i wasnt to sure could this be the cause as with the bonnet up if i turn the steering wheel to the left or right the whole of the bushes at the top on both sides move..
can any1 do the same and tell me the anwser and also take a pic of the top of the bushes with the nut and allen key centre so i can see if there is a gap or if they sit flush
cheers damo
