steering pulling to the left
Ok guys, have had a problem with the car pulling to the left. Had everything checked underneath with regards to the steering and was given the ok by my local mechanic. Had two new tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago and according to the garage the wheels were balanced and also had the tracking done. the mechanic can't figure out why the car is still pulling to the left? Also had the brakes etc checked and all seems to be fine in that department? Anyone got any other ideas as to what might be causing this?

Nope, tyres are all the same size. Haven't lowered the car either. When I got the car there wasn't too much of a problem with the steering, well not that i noticed anyway. Wheels were 17"khans and had them replaced with 17" wolferace. Got tracking etc done prior to recent mot and had to have two new tyres fitted. As said garage said tracking was done and everything checked out. Only now there's the pull to the left. It's okay if I'm going round a left hander as don't have to steer, the car does it for me! I did notice something strange though, the driver side wheel seems to stick out a little more than the passenger side wheel or maybe the other way around? What could this be and could it be this that is causing the problem?

A long shot. have you checked the rear passenger brake. mine pulled slightly to the left because the brake shoe retaining pin had come out of the shoe and was jamming into the pad causing a big lump to come off and jam between the shoe and the hub so obviously slowing down that wheel. reseated the the shoe and pulling was cured.

Well managed to get a look at the back brakes and nothing untoward with them. No sticking, no debrie, nothing? Got new wheels coming tomorrow so hopefully will get them on in the next few days and see if that makes any difference. If not don't know where to look next as tried almost everything. Any othere ideas?
