Knock sensors
I took my car to the garage round the corner from work today to check my positive battery lead (they said it was OK - I put in a new terminal clamp and wired it up but I wasn't sure whether it was safe or not, they said it was), and they also checked the fault codes on my ECU because the light has been on for like the past few weeks LOL... Anyway they charged me £50 for all this because it was 3/4 hour labour apparently, and they said they will need to change both knock sensors at the same time as they link into one to the ECU or something? They reckon £120 labour plus the price of the sensors... Good idea/price or ripoff?

I got trade club membership so I can get the knock sensors at TC price, thing is I fitted a brand new terminal the other day but I just wanted someone 'professional' to check it was all OK as I don't really trust myself when it comes to anything electrical haha! But the price he charged me included reading the fault codes, which is something my local Vauxhall dealer charge £77 for!
Do you reckon £120 for 2 hour's labour is good for replacing both knock sensors?
