V6 Alternator/Battery

Hi All

I've just changed my alternator; but when i use the seat heater i still get a faint glow from the battery light - i don't get this when using anything else.
Would this indicate a knackered battery? or is there something else i should be looking at?

I've heard that the wiring from alternator to battery isn't suffient enough to handle the load that is put on the electrical system when high current items are being used.

Ive just had a problem with my alternator wiring, be worth just checking the condition of the cables as I found with mine the Earthing wire had become brittle and corroded, simple install of new wire and everything was back to normal...
