the boot lock has stopped working with the central locking of my car. it can still be opened with the key as long as you keep the key in the lock as u press the button in. other than that it stays locked the whole time. any ideas?

Check and see if the motor is still working before you go further. Go into the boot and take off the covering. You will see the motor behind this. It is attached to the lock by the way of a rod like lever, it may have just unclipped? If it looks okay, take this off and then try your central locking, you should see the lock rod moving in and out. If this is still working, take a look at the actual lock itself. I had a problem with mine and the circular piece of plastic that is moved by the motor had shifted out of place and wasn't making its full turn. It just clips back into place.

put key in lock, turn the key and then take key out...lock the car with the central locking and then unlock...now go try and open the boot by pushing the lock in (do not insert the key)
