found a wire?????/

evening all, im just in the middle of replacing my transfer box on my turbo and i have come acress a wire that is not connected to anything, it a pretty thick black wire that has no connector on it or anything, its been fastend to the idle control valve wire, but i cant see where it has come from. im certain i havent broke it, can only imagine it was already like that, does anyone know what it could be? or where its from or anything.

Could be an earth try looking for a broken spade connector, sorry but ni idea where to look but thye length should give you a rough idea. Have you tried tracing it back to see where the other end goes

it is two wires and they come out of the loom, along with the plug for the icv.

On the loom the icv wiring is taped together with the knock sensor wiring...
