Any electrical issues

Went to take the wife to her Christmas night out and the wee man wanted to go in the v6. But it was flat as a pancake I think its the altenater.
Back when it was i getting the electrics fixed the guy said it was only putting out 13v so i think ill need to get a new one

The calibra is easier than the Vectra IME, still a PITA though.

steve thats hat and why we where telling you about the alternator cooling fan and stirling meet if it doesnt work then alternator only lasy few weeks b4 its burnt out

alternator is a pain to change, it can be done without removing driveshafts/ subframes etc. it will come out with some coaxing. when mine died i discovered the cooling fan was also dead. been driving 8 months now on recon alternator, still havent replaced the cooling fan although ive now sourced a replacement.

itGave it a bump start when i came in from work started before it was out the drive. I let it run for 1\2 hour turned it off left it a while and it started no probs. I dont use it evey day so if the alternator isnt charging propaly and its left a few days that might be anoth to flaten

good luck with alternator matey cost me 300 quid to get it replaced and that was a reconditioned one :(
