head lights playing up

right,been out in the cally 2nite and im a bit puzzled

had my headlights on normal and no problems,but as soon as i knock my indicators on,the beam dips to sidelight brightness,then when u cancel indicators,full beam is restored

can anyone enlighten me as to whats causing this???

The Indicator stalk has gone you'll need to replace it. Not a hard job a few screws to take the coiling off around the streeing wheel then unplug the old one and pop in the new.

i wouldnt have thought of that , cheers mate,ill take one off te astra and see what happens
