Lever under headlight bulb?

by truxx » Mon Feb 11, 2008 1:09 pm

Just put in a new headlight bulb and i noticed theres a white plastic lever under where the bulb goes?
I could'nt get a photo of it because of where it is,but if you reach your fingers under the bulb it's there.
It seems to operate some sort of spring inside the headlight?

Any ideas what it's for?

I think it changes the angle that the light beam points (driving abroad etc).
Like i say tho, not sure.
