Heater console bulbs

by jazzead » Wed May 28, 2008 5:45 pm

Hi. I'm new to this site and have already found the information shared a great help. However, can someone assist here please? There is no back light to any of my heater controls ie the blue to red slide control nor the air flow selection windows. Is there a simple way of replacing the bulbs or are we talking about a dashboard removal project?

you dont need to take the whole dashboard out do ya?
cant you just use most of the how to guide. remove the bit above the wheel take the screws out the side and the screws behind the trip computer? 8-[

There's only one (tiny) bulb in the heater panel, and a right pain to replace.

the complete unit with LED's has 4 or 5 of them fitted so all of the display is lit, quite bright tbh, a bit too bright for me
