Pads Worn Warning Light

The Pads Worn Warning Light started to come on after approx 5min journey and stays on but if i restart the engine, the light goes off permantly until the next journey.

I suspect its the sensor but not sure why it goes off when the engine is restarted.

Not sure if its the engine management or pad sensor. Any ideas?

Have you checked that you dont acctually need to change the pads? :?:

Yes and the pads were changed just over 6mths ago.

have you checked your fluid? and the connection at the top of the bottle?

erm have you checked the wires that go to the pads as they are very flimsy.

Definately the pad worn light is on.

Cut the sensor off, join the wires together and tape up out of the way, no pad sensor light on the dash.......... job done.
