Rear Suspension

Fitted some new rear shock mounting rubbers today, passenger side went on ok, drivers side was a pain, ending up taking the shock completely off but in doing so I happened to notice the shock is leaking... Now I only replaced these in March, so you wouldnt expect them to be gone already, so phoned the company that sold me them and told them, they said if I send them back they'll test them and if they are fault they will exchange them for me...

All very well saying that but what am I meant to do in the mean time while the shocks are away?? so I decided to get a new set, a better set, gone for a pair of bilstien shocks, hopefully these will last longer than the s****Y Jamex ones, still cant believe that, 5 months old and leaking...

Im trying to figure out what might have caused them to go, I did have knacked crossmember bushes for a while so maybe they caused some stress at the rear or maybe it was the knackered shock mounting rubbers, or the shocks were just crap... who knows...

Bilsteins are good, i originally had Gmax shocks and they leaked after a year and a half, better ride on the bilsteins!!
