4x4 fault ( think its finally over)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi all

After changing the pressure switch/ the solonoid / replacing all the fluids/ i finally found the cause of the fault and as always, it turned out to be something odd and simple..

I thought i should check the 4x4 ecu, and when i did i see that the wiring had been cut into and crimped
This was to add the 2/ 4 wheel drive switch onto the steering console..
I also noticed the ecu was hanging loose..
When i moved the ecu, there was a click and the dash light went out
It seems the join in the wiring was naff and the ecu beening loose meant it was probably moving the loose connection whilst driving
I fixed the ecu and took her around the block to test , and the 4x4 stayed on all the way ( so far anyway)

I was just getting ready to give it all up as well

Thinking of it now, it makes sense that this switch could of caused this problem as it switches the 4 wheel drive into 2 wheel drive..
Its been a very good learning experience like you say!
Id never took the accumilator block apart before , and i did it twice..
