abs unit
feel that the ABS is not working the way it should be, have removed the fuse and the brakes work fine but with the fuse in when braking even gently judders and noisy. Have a ABS unit from my last calibra (16v) but on checking the part no's 0265 208 011 its not the same as the SE9's( it is similar 0265 208 411 ) or does this not matter. Have checked the fault codes but nothing showing any fault. Any thoughts welcome
Now with 2XSe9 V6 flame red calibra's

as i say i think
TC only shares the sensors and feedback from the ABS telltale input is requested by the TC ECU after completion of its' four second initialisation sequence (on ignition switch on).

V6 info - All V6 Calibras used the combined under bonnet Bosch 2EH system. However, A slightly modified version of the 2EH system was used on late V6's. This version used stronger, more reliable magnetic hydraulic valves inside the main ABS unit (Generation 5).
Not sure if that relates to all Calibra's.

Ok so do you think that the plug on all the V6's is the same so that if I got an ABS unit from a scrapped late V6 that it would fit or does the Abs Ecu come into the it when swapping the original.

depending on chassis number
upto M129999 ...........................................part No 90350609
from N01000001 up to chassis No T1001897 ...part No 90442135
from chassis No T1001898........................... part No 90541364
the one on this cav that is getting stripped is a "P" Chassis so that is part number 90442135
if you let me know what your chassis number are for your old 16V and the SE9 , might be its the same part number listed

I would fit an ABS unit from a late V6 cally and see how it goes. you could always take the ECU from the late V6 aswell.
