Help guys, what does this lead go to? its been damaged
Hi all
Been looking for the cause of my car running really bad lately, when i found that his lead has been almost completely burnt through by a pully on the car..
It clips in around by the top mount / main loom / and runs down the p/s wing, around under the airbox, then underneath the turbo somewere.
I dont know what this wire does but it has got wires inside the sheath and its completely shagged!!
Thanxs

What's in the way on your block? Do you have aircon? I don't know how that effects things, normally just the pas pump mounts in the way a bit, but that's only 3 bolts.. I'm sure I can change mine without removing that even, the sensors only one 10mm bolt and then pulls out, its about 30mm long
Toyota Mr-2 roadster turbo
Guys i have aircon and like said, its a right mare to get to the 10mm..
Couldnt get a socket over it, as its to close to the sensor and the socket wont fit over it.
Also couldnt do with a small spanner as i cannot get the right position to get the spanner head over the nut .
I found a really tiny socket set in my local car part shop and this did the trick really well and got the nut and sensor out without removing anything..
Result!
Done it from underneath feeding my hand through a gap behind the turbo unit..
