If giving the bolts a quick tweak to tighten is it best to have the wheel off the ground
or can it be done standing?

make sure you use quality tools,un like someone

Why, what happened to you? When the mechanic did my right side one the pillock took out the rear bolt, then decided to reverse the car and wore away the inner lip on the bumper and liner, twot

As with most bushed suspension components its BETTER to tighten them ON the ground in the resting position to prolong bush life.

the big 16mm nut was done up so tight i went through most of my tools trying to get the fecker off and in the end gave up

Already broken the captive nut, the thread got screwed so had to punch a hole in the floor and use a longer bolt and self locking nut

I find a blow torch sorts out nuts/bolts that wont budge...
