Cv joints
Cv joints
i was just wundering i had a split cv boot on the front left , and now its making a bit of a knocking noise now when i turn full lock left. think i need a new cv joint ; but do i need to replace them both at the same time? Or can i just do one?
Would £24 deliverd be a good price on 1 cv joint and bootkit?
Also has anybody got any tips??
Cheers Greg

Spot on thanks for the advice. Is it a straight forward enough job or would it be easier to pay some one to do it for me ??

Re: Cv joints
if the splines are the same amount ...yes
you area aware that you need to crack off the bottom ball joint in order to change a CV...and then try and find the circlip that holds it on the drive shaft....now that is messy
