No, the main fuse panel under the steering wheel.

Re: main beam relay
ive just been out taking all the fuses out 1 by 1 and soon as i pulled the abs fuse out (fuse number 14) the main beams turned off
so now i just gotta figure out why the abs fuse is affecting the main beams

Re: main beam relay
ok im confused, i cant find any problems with the wires
i start by telling you when the problem came
right, i was wireing up my remote locking, i had to wire it all up to the passanger door as the remote locking on the drivers side is tempremental, i finished wiring that up and everything was fine and all worked properly, the next thing was to wire the remote locking to the hazard lights, wired it up, but when i went to put my indicator on for the passanger side all the indicators flash (same on the drivers side) so unwired it and decided to wire it up to the sidelights instead, so opened the bonnet cut the sidelight wire on the pass side put the remote locking wire on it, put another wire on it then connected it back up, then cut the wire in the drivers side and connected the other wire to that then wired that back up
the remote locking worked fine, flashed the sidelights when i locked it, so thought everything was fine, didnt think to start the car to make sure everything was working ok, the following evening i got in the car started it up and the main beams turned on and there was no way of turning them off, so turned it off, went in, got a tourch, then took the wires back off the sidelights but still the main beams are still on when the ignition is on
the next day went to the scrapyard and got another indicator stalk as i thought this might be the problem, but no, main beams are still on, so tested the relay and replaced it but still no differant, then i decided i would take all the fuses out 1 by 1 and see if anything would turn the main beam off
i got to the abs fuse (fuse number 14) pulled it out and then the main beams turned off, everything worked fine (well apart from the abs
), main beam worked as it should, so went out in the evening to make sure everything worked ok, when the light are on dip beam the abs light is on, when the lights are on main beam the abs light turns off (this is with the abs fuse pulled out remember)
so im guessing theres something running a constant current to the main beams, ive checked all the wiring ive done and everything appears to be ok
i just need to find out why the abs fuse is affecting the main beams.
any ideas??

Re: main beam relay
you have tapped into the wrong wire at some point ..which I dont know
Re: main beam relay
If the wiring in the drivers door was dodgy, that would of been a good oppurtunity to sort it.
