cliffard imobiliser
after alot ov time and me gettin stressed alot lol think its my imobiliser that is stopping fuel gettin through does anybody have an idea where cliffard would put the bloody thing because i cant find anything anywhere

found it but cant seem to find the imobiliser wire as it is all wraped up tidy but it i unplug the box will that get rid of the alarm totally therefor de atcivating the imobiliser ???

doubt it as they interrupt the supply wire for the fuel and ignition. so if its un plugged you wont complete the circuit

Could it not just be the pump relay?

no its not the pump relay or the pump itself they have all been checked witch makes me think it could be the imobiliser im not 100% yet but think tht all it could be know so how did you get it too work then ally ??? please share as im getting stressed with it now

When you crank the engine, does the engine fault light flash?

the alarm was missing the valet switch on the se9 once that was fitted it worked.
i had a problem with my 8v 2 years ago where my throttle position sensor went, basically the car would crank but wouldn't fire. at first i thought it was the fuel pump relay or pump. i would do a paperclip test and check for codes ( i think this is what Andys pointing towards )

If the light flashes when cranking, it is likely to be the key chip/sensor at fault.
