Alloy refurb

My alloys are about ready for a refurb, were origonally finished in that dark chrome or shadow chrome stuff. 2 have gone really bad, the chrome has come off leaving a black undercoat whilst the other 2 are not bad. has anyone found anything similar in aerosol form. still like the finish but havent managed to find anything similar in rattle cans!!

Your not going to find anything in a can thats going to give you the same finish, the only way to do that is have them re-plated.

iv just got ma 18's done they powder coated them in black then sprayed chome paint on top its not the exact same as they would be if they where replated but they didnt cost as much as replating

dont think mine were finished right from factory as 2 are near on perfect and 2 have got black scabs all over them. Will have to look at local wheel refurb shop and see what they can do, dont want to pay much tho as the wheels were only cheap.

i paid £65 a wheel but there was a fair bit of work needed to the rims
