why do u need ins for 1 day anyway gor ?, if u already have ins its should cover u for any other car

the other car still has to have an insurance policy on it for you to drive it using your policy

yes you had by then BOUGHT the car thus the new owner

I am sure there are ways round it, but if something did go wrong and you are not the legal owner of the car or allowed to drive with the owners permission or its hired or leased to you ...then they have a way out of not paying up

why not just insure it my se9 has been off the road since last october but was still insured. it is still off the road and will be till the end of June but i still renewed the policy at the beginning of May
