16v tuning

by Jamesyboy » Tue Jun 08, 2010 5:03 pm

Right as of the 20th my new calibra is gettin to be dry stored, and worked on for a few months, and i need some serious ides on how to tune this engine up to the best it can be without (hopefully) taking the engines to complete bits, the engine is comin out of the car as i wanna do the timing belt and clutch. If you can provide links and prices and any kind of guidance with things or what to do would be appreciated.

I already have a power cap, induction kit, (which oddly runs fine with it) and i think there may be more because god it goes like s**t off a shovel, as quick as the v6 if not quicker!!!!

 Decat pipe and decent exhaust for a start. See what you are getting at the moment and decide what you want to acheive. You'll probably find you have around 160 as it is.

SBD exhaust manifold works well on the C20XE and well priced then a decat and a good exhaust and not a powerflow.
