Centeral Locking - No Keys
I picked up a Cali (no front bumper it was ripped off in an accident) anyway i picked it up for spare parts, Whats happened is the things been locked by the remote and now there's no keys for it, the towing yards lost them.
I am just wondering is there anyway to easily get past the central locking? Or am i going to have to get in though the broken window and then take the door trim off?

Re: Centeral Locking - No Keys
If there is a broken windown just pull the inside door catch and it will open the door.

Bodgetastic, not 100% what you mean by that. In they yard they have broken the little quarter glass window to get to the door handle but that unlock it, i am guessing there's more to it then that whats why i was asking about the central locking.
oh wait i think i know what you mean
silly me.
So basically just break the window and use something to reach down for the catch.

Re: Centeral Locking - No Keys
yes if the quatrer window is already broke then reach in and push the button in the door handle and that should switch the central locking and you can then use the door handle to open the door. If the window isnt broke their are other ways to get in without doing that.

Re: Centeral Locking - No Keys
The window was broken already but we couldn't get the handle open because not only had it been central locked they locked it with the key as well.
So i took the windscreen out in one piece! slinked in popped the boot, then, i took the door trim off. I removed the rod out that goes from the keylock to the central locking, then i used a starter battery pack and a few wires to short the locking mechanism and pop the central locking open.
My mate was waiting with the angle grinder! but i was like no no no i want the doors in one piece.
Anyway, we used the angle grinder to take the steering lock off, then i was hot wiring the car and set everything off. Alarms, window screen wipers, hazards. Lucky the thing didn't have any air bags.
Oh i also picked up a 3rd calibra in almost perfect condition its rear suspension is screwed... but its got keys lol. so i am going to take the suspension out of the one i am wreaking to fix the other

I don't have pictures, but i got a short video clip of when my mate was in the car with the angle grinder, you cannot see much, but it just looked funny from my view.
(drive monkey drive, is a reference to the movie grandma's boy)

I just uploaded that video from my phone, its not a very good but maybe me some one will have a laugh.. and yes that was the indicator leaver that gets thrown out the windscreen.
But you can see that just the bumper was ripped off in the accident, but its a spare parts car anyway so its all good
