well the tracking is all spot on :band: and she was only a tad out 19 mm drivers side and off the scale pass side
while he was under it he checked all my handy work and just nipped up the lower arms for us,the thing i did do wrong was the top mount nuts, instead of the thinner nut above the plate and the thicker one below it i did it arse about face  that might be the reason its knocking on big bups on the drivers side.or i just forgot to tighten the oooje nut that keeps the shock in place.

all was fine on saturday i replaced the steering wheel for a 3 spoke veccy one
sunday went for a blast and............ the se3 isnt in good shape i was sitting at the trafficlights went to pull away but never did :( first i thought it was the clutch cable but nope its got full movement my other problem is it now constantly overheats and only runs on 3 pots

so i think the ashtray needs emptying

why would it need a skim???? has it been cooked, Iknow you said it overheats, but to what degree, should only skim a head if it is really needed ...and thats why i said check for distortion, flat edge (metal rule)check at various points over the head using a set of feeler gauges
