steve ,

just cheked the lmf website and they are as follows :

£62 each for b4 fronts and £56 for b4 rear ones plus i would have to get new springs (i know it doesnt normally matter what sort

all the b6 ones go for £150 each

so you can see why ive sort of got my eye on the gmax kit as you can get that around £180 all in now and surely what ever kit you get would be better than standard setup and even vauxhall quoted me for standard setup and it turned out to be £600 :axed:

I would go for the billys if you can... get new springs later if you already have springs...

Ill be going for the B4's when i come to do the shocks...

ah right so if lets say the mot centre says my shocks could be leaking is it still the insert that i would need , basically yes i have spax springs that were fitted but we never touched the standard ones and left them on the car but it feels as if the rear ones have worn etc .

but like you said fraz that is a good price for the shocks and maybe i could use the spax ones as i know the springs are at a nice height at the front..

you get what you pay for at the end of the day...i suppose gmax would be an improvement over clapped out suspension.

ive got koni adjustables and eibach springs...so i can alter damping.h n r are top notch kit aswell.just get the best you can.
