it lives again

The cally is finally back on the road tonight after fitting some new roose motorsport cooland pipes (couldn't recomend them more to anyone!) and also a new uprated TX autosport radiator (not so convinced)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT

dont get me wrong it works a treat when fitted, im now abot 10- 15 degrees cooler so it works well enough but as a "driect replacement" thats what lets it down. to fit it i need to drill out the water way to the turbo as the weld had nearly filled the hole! also i have had to cut and 'make' the intercooler fit to the side of it and last thing is that the locating clip at the bottom of the radiator doesn't fit the fan so just bolted on at the top but its not going anywhere- the main problem after this is that there is not enough clearence for the bottom water pipe so stuffed it with foam to stop it rubbing through.

So to put it shortly the hoses get a big yes and the radiator gets a yes but only if your willing and know what to do to fit it

it was about 100 105 just cruising on mway without a thermostat in it- hence why i needed it done. used to have to drop speeds going up hill to 55 60mph when it was getting really bad!
