Ive been busy today :)

by Rob-se9 » Sat Sep 25, 2010 8:00 pm

Well today i finally got round to doing more on the engine with a little help from a mate of mine. We drained the coolant, and with abit of a struggle we managed to get the radiator out lol. After a few cups of tea we managed to take some parts of the engine off, such as the inlet manifold etc. Heres some pictures of today work

Good idea Rob, Flushing the water ways out after the cooler has been changed isn't a nice job.

The reason all the bits are coming off are to get the heads off as well as the oil cooler and rebuild the whole lot, the radiator etc came off for cleaning all the gunk out and as hes a good boy hes not doing it on his mothers drive ( i'll get the blame). he's also doing it all himself mainly and is in no rush to have it back on the road. He really likes driving his Fiesta :assshaking:
