trip computer calibration after installing cavalier LCD tach

how can i make my trip computer work as it was before installing the LCD tacho?

i mean that the range is wrong, the instant consuption is only liters/hour and doesnt change. so something is wrong. how can i fix it?

so you only get an "F" on the range function ...as far as I am aware the only way this will be corrected is to have the chip of the Fuel computer the same code as the dash chip ...what chip is in the dash??

not sure what you on about with the instant consumption, that works fine on mine just the range dont work

no i get a number for range. when i start the car there is a number but it doesnt change as i drive the car. i get no F signs.

have you changed the wire on the fuel computer as per the instructions

On models with fuel computers you may have problems with the Range display giving inaccurate information. Unplug the fuel computer connector and move the black/blue wire from pin 26 to pin 8

have you tried another fuel computer?? I have the LCD as does a few others and the only fault on the fuel computer is the range function does not work, all you get is the "F" on the range, but all other function work as they should

how accurate is the speed on your dash?? have have you checked with a sat nav the actual speed to what is shown?

its not accurate. i have bought a pulse converter to make it work 100% accurate. i get no F signs at all. in instant consuption when you drive the car does it change from gal/h to gal/m?
