Im new and just bought a cally turb

by Vxlgsi » Sun Oct 03, 2010 12:01 pm

Im not sure if you people are interested in my car as it is standard and probably boring to most but to me its a drop of vauxhall history so im creating this thread.

So after picking up the car and driving back 200 miles i found afew minor faults i will be sorting out over time but im pleasaed to say nothing major! The car is not used daily nor will it be used over winter so i have no rush, but it will be going to Billing next year and maybe even nurburg if i get time.

So this is when i got it home,

I then buggered off on holiday for a while, i got back and was itching to clean it and see whats what and get the new car cover on it whilst i start collecting bits and bobs for it.

this is it after a wash and shammy, so she should shine after a good polish!

Pics of under the bonnet will come when ive had a chance to give it a good clean!

cheers for sorting the pics, what did you change just so i know for future ref?

found this one in southport, bought it of and old chap that had it from new as a company car in 1992, then when he left he bought the car off the company.

It also came with a spare set of mint late spec wheels, ill never use them so they will be for sale.

welcome to cc.net, and as has already been said there's nothing wrong with standard calibra's.
and yours is certainly a nice clean example as well :D

That looks very nice and tidy. Although personally I like some subtle styling mods I would prefer standard anytime over some the fast and furious rejects you see out there.
