Front Suspension Strut
There is a "ticking" noise coming from the offside front suspension - more noticable at low speeds. There is no excessive play in the bearing and the wheel turns quite freely. Could it be a worn CV joint. Any other suggestions or checks I could do.

Re: Front Suspension Strut
check and see if the rubber gaiter on the cv joint is split if so then the joint could have been exposed to dirt and water and could well be worn...
noises from suspension could be caused by many things, I have had the joys of tracking down lots of different noises, heres what I found...
1. The lower suspension arm vertical bolt not done up tight enough...
2. Anti roll bar link worn...
3. Split ball joing rubber...
4. Wheel nuts needed some copper grease...
have fun...
