Really need to know the engine you have as that will decide what mods you can get done and what gains you can expect?..pop some pics up too.....Another Boro lad..nice to see.

Re: my 2ltr 8v c20ne
a redtop swap would be cost effective.but the usual route of air filter, exhaust, chip, cam, manifold etc.

Re: my 2ltr 8v c20ne
it all depends on your budget and how much more power you are looking for as already said an engine swap would be the most cost effective way a turbo transplant would cost about £1500 and give the biggest gains, a v6 would cost £300/£1200 depending which v6 to go for a red top would cost £300/£500 then you could tune them up with exhausts chips, manifolds, cams, if you want to keep the 8v there is a turbo kicking about for it but not sure much about them or as k1nty has said its "air filter, exhaust, chip, cam, manifold" but with out spending silly money you wont get great power pound for pound you will get better gains with an engine swap

cheers guys. the modds u mentioned are what i was thinking. i've recently done an engine transplant but put the 8v back in from a k reg because my orignal engine the bottom end went twice on me lol but the engine thats in now is alot better. thought about the v6 but i'm payin quite alot just for my 8v so not an option lol
thanks
thanks

Re: my 2ltr 8v c20ne
the 8v is still a good engine and can keep up with most other engines Ally has proved that many times over sort out the intake and exhaust give it a good service and enjoy some bomb prof driving

Hello and welcome.
A good exhaust and a penel filter saw my 8v go from 115 to 127bhp, that would be a good place to start.

Re: my 2ltr 8v c20ne
and dont forget a cold air feed fed from the towing eye straight to the bottom of the airbox , this is a cheap and recommendable modification .
