are you making it 4wd cause you aren't going to go very far putting 290bhp through the front wheels we where playing with one last weekend with 300+bhp and it just wants to go from side to side while the bus's overtake you lol

nope steve not 4x4 just using an f20 with a limited slip diff

if i went for 4x4 ad just be copying you

old engine will be going to its new owner this weekend and turbo will get droped in and wired next weekend then let the hunting begin for the other bits i need to make it drivable

You shoulda bought the whole car then, as Steve says 300bhp and front wheel drive isnt fun.

so what you guys think i should do

two options im considering at the moment it buy another cally shell and attempt to make a rear wheel drive setup as somebody i know is breaking a manta running gear still available OR turn the power down on the turbo to more standard figures

im realy not interested in converting it to 4x4 as its already been done by steve and im on very tight budget after buying the engine for more than the cars worth

i know what you guys are saying about fwd but my old fiat coupe 20v turbo was 310 bhp and about 260 torque at the wheels and was perfectly drivable on a dry day aslong as you werent being silly and yes it was almost un-drivable on a wet or icy day

as for buying the dtm it was already broken and shell scrapped when i heard about the parts for sale to fund guys xmas shopping

doing a rear wheel drive cally will cost more than doing a 4x4 convertion, mine has 265bhp and when ive got the fuse out i can drive it no probs but if i put my foot down or let the turbo boost up the front just spins, so it all depends on how your going to drive it but i dont have 2 fast callys to drive like a grany,

c20let with f28 if you go for any other box you will use loads of fuel when on the moterway and i dont think a f20 will last long, dosnt the 20 part stand for the amount of max BHP that the box can take
